The Activities Ministry provides wholesome Christian fellowship opportunities to introduce Jesus Christ to as many people as possible. We offer fun-filled activities and sports for all ages. Invite a friend, neighbor, relative or co-worker to join you. There are many opportunities to share Christ with your friends at all the different activities offered.

Children's Sports:

FBC Hoops Basketball is for children grades 1-6 and is played in January & February. Registration for this league is Full. 

Spring T-Ball is for children ages 4-6 (Pre-K through Kindergarten only).  Registration for this league begins January 9th. You must register in the Church Office between the hours of 8:00am-4:30pm. Cost is $70 and includes a MLB replica jersey & cap, league fee, award and certified umpires. Practices begin on February 27th and games begin in April (7 weeks).

FBC Hoops Basketball Camp is an exciting week, June 26-29, 2017, as Patrick Eddie (former New York Knicks player) and his staff help you improve your basketball knowledge, skills and fundamentals of the game. Registration begins in April 2017.

Fall Soccer is for children Entering grades Pre-K 4 through 6. Registration begins in May. Practices begin in August and games begin in September. 

Fall Flag Football is for children and youth Entering grades 3-8th. Registration begins in May. Practices begin in August and games begin in September. 

Adult Sports:

Men's Over 30 Summer Basketball League Monday nights, June 5 - August 14, 2017 (10 weeks), at the First Baptist Church Activity Center.   

Summer Bowling League Tuesday nights, June 6 thru August 8, 2017(10 weeks) with registration beginning in April. Deadline to register is May 24, 2017.

600 Mile Exercise Club is ongoing throughout the year with registration beginning each January 1.

Coed Softball is played each Spring. Registration begins early January until spots are filled. Cost is $40 per person. The league runs for 8 weeks and games will begin March 10.  

2017 Four-Person Golf Scrambles

Join us for our first tournament at Clear Creek Golf Course at Tom Bass Park in Pearland. We will play this beautiful course that is regarded as one of Houston’s best kept secrets.
When: Saturday, March 25, 8:00 am shotgun start
Where: Clear Creek Golf Course (3902 Fellows Rd. off Beltway 8 at Tom Bass Park)
Fee: $67 per person (due upon sign up) includes green fee, cart, range balls, GPS, Hamburger & Grilled Chicken Buffet and prizes.
Deadline: Thursday, March 16 

Join us as we travel to Mont Belvieu to play the beautiful and very challenging Eagle Pointe Golf Club. Play this awesome course that features forested surroundings, dramatic elevation changes and a great layout.
When: Saturday, April 29, 8:00 am shotgun start
Where: Eagle Pointe Golf Club (12440 Eagle Pointe Drive in Mont Belvieu)
Fee: $67 per person (due upon sign up) includes green fee, cart, range balls, Hamburger Buffet and prizes.
Deadline: Thursday, April 20

Our final tournament of the season will be closer to home. We will play The Battleground at Deer Park. This course features a demanding championship layout that is sure to test any seasoned player.
When: Saturday, November 11, 8:00 am shotgun start
Where: The Battleground Golf Course at Deer Park (1600 Georgia in Deer Park)
Fee: $67 per person (due upon sign up) includes green fee, cart, range balls, Hamburger buffet, bounce back card to play a free round, and prizes.
Deadline: Thursday, November 2

Adult Crafts:

Ladies' Scrapbooking/Crafts Nights are scheduled monthly on the fourth Friday at 6:30 pm throughout the year. They are in room D-142.


Astros Day Trip
Saturday, May 20 at 3:10 pm
See the Astros host the American League Champion Cleveland Indians. The cost is $35 (Bullpen Seats) that includes a $20 food credit at the park. Space is limited to 50 people. Ride the vans or take your own vehicle. Register in the Church Office.

Father/Son Baseball Trip  - July 27-29, 2017
The Padres host both the New York Mets and Pittsburgh Pirates. Excursions include the world famous San Diego Zoo and indoor electric go-kart racing at K1 Speedway. Cost is $960 per person double occupancy and $930 triple occupancy. (the price includes round trip Southwest airfare, two nights lodging at a Hilton Bayfront hotel (Sky Bridge connects to Petco Park), tours, tickets to both ball games, and 2 buffet breakfasts.
